Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Solomon Dalung, has finally
reacted to the controversy surrounding Nigeria’s Olympic Football team
being stranded in Atlanta a night before their first Olympic match
against Japan. According to Dalung, some Nigerians fabricated an
imaginative crisis concerning the welfare of the U23 football team,
“just to distract concentration leading to failure.” See more of his
tweets after the cut.
